IP Video Series, Part 3

The third video in a multi-part series on intellectual property is up! In it I discuss the Trans-Pacific Partnership and some of the effects it would have on intellectual property. Both copyright and patents are covered. This is by no means an exhaustive review of the TPP as it pertains to IP, but it should be enough to show you the dangers of the agreement.

Remember, once a trade agreement like the TPP becomes law, changing our intellectual property rules will be exponentially more difficult. And as IP expands to hinder startups, small businesses, and even large companies spending hundreds of millions on lawyers, we need the flexibility to change these laws if we want to really fix some of the underlying issues facing the nation.
